a version of our song Sleeping Weapons (from our out of print live record, Arasapha) appears on an FDH Records compilation that was
handed out at the
Punk Rock Flea Market (Philadelphia), as well as other places.
We have some copies of it if you'd like to get one...just drop us a line.
Plans are also underway for Northern Valentine to be involved in a split record with Lunch With Beardo. More to follow...

we recently released two new cd-rs:
The Unblinking Eye, which contains some mammoth ambient guitar explorations that are perfect for late night listening, and
Arasapha, a live recording featuring versions of some of our favorite songs that were recorded during shows on our Winter Tour 2007 and some brand new material, including one of our favorite live songs, the previously unrecorded "sleeping weapons"!

Our "Winter Tour 2007" has come to a close and we are thrilled to have been able to play with, and
meet, so many great people.
Thanks to the venues / houses / people who hosted us and our shows, and thanks to our fellow touring road warriors:
PD Wilder, whose solo performances were filled with dreamy goodness,
and Marc "the muscle" Carazo, who helped us move all of our stuff around...and dumped tea in Boston Harbor.
A number of our shows were recorded during the tour, so expect to see some tracks from those sets (or maybe even entire sets!) sometime in the near future.
We played the Northern Liberties Winter Music Festival on
February 17th @ The Fire (Philadelphia, PA).
We had a great time playing, met some cool people and performed one of our songs ('water like a knife') live...for the first time!
